The “Welcome to Canada Bonus” is being offered by General Motors to qualifying first-time buyers who are either new permanent residents or temporary foreign workers, to help you buy your first new car!

How do I qualify?

Eligible individuals must hold a valid Canadian driver’s licence and must be Permanent Residents with a valid Permanent Residence Card or Temporary Workers with a valid Work Permit. Applicants must have an arrival date between 2013-2015 to be eligible. Foreign students are not eligible for this bonus but may qualify for the “Student Bonus Program”.

What do I get?

Those who qualify get $1000 (tax inclusive) towards the purchase or lease of selected new 2015 or 2016 GM cars, CUVs, SUVs and trucks. Often, other incentives may be added onto this bonus.

Are there any restrictions?

This bonus may be claimed no more than once and only applies to new 2015 or 2016 GM vehicles (but of course we like GMC and Buick). The “Welcome to Canada Bonus” is only available until January 4, 2016, so come in today and grab this bonus money!
